"World Species Archive"
Its core idea is to use surreal "biological traits" to reflect the real difficulties of survival. Anxiety, loneliness, and information overload, which we cannot describe directly, are given concrete form as "symbionts" or "energy beings." These "nonexistent life forms" are, paradoxically, the most precise footnotes to "real life."
The entries use the style of "pseudoscientific reports," deliberately dressing absurd premises in academic terms such as "taxonomy," "survival medium," and "danger level." The aim is to make them feel more accessible and real, and to inspire a deeper sense of connection.
Through these "nonexistent life forms," we hope to take a fresh look at modern life from the opposite direction.
"World Species Archive" is not a fantasy story, but an "emotional mirror." It turns the anxieties, regrets, and sense of incompletion of the digital age into "monster files." Through these "monsters," it helps you see that the "everyday things" troubling you actually conceal your truest self.
Each species file can be read on its own, but together they piece together a "portrait of human existence in the digital age."
The "experimental data" and "user cases" in this work are fictional, but their details draw on extensive observations of real life.
If you often find yourself thinking of your own experiences as you read, congratulations. That means "World Observation Log" has fulfilled its mission: turning fictional "monsters" into mirrors that reflect real life.
