In Shaoxing, the Southern Song Dynasty, there is a grudge spanning three hundred years hidden in the mist of West Lake.
In order to find her true love in the world, Bai Suzhen transformed into another person for three hundred years and finally met her destined person - Xu Xian, a scholar in green shirt. Borrowing umbrellas and sachets to express love on a broken bridge, this was originally the first encounter between gods and lovers, but it was shattered by a sudden fishy wind. The red-scale snake demon rushed from the clouds, screaming and tearing apart the secrets of the three people's past lives: it turned out that this snake demon was actually Liu Ruyan, the snake girl Bai Suzhen subdued three hundred years ago!
In order to overcome the thunder catastrophe, Bai Suzhen took Liu Ruyan's Snake Pill to warm up the Yuanling. However, after attaining enlightenment and ascending to heaven, she sealed it in the Snake Cave at the bottom of Leifeng Pagoda, locking up the evil spirit for three hundred years with thousand-year black iron. Now Liu Ruyan broke out of the seal, her snake tail swept across the bluestone, her eyes burning with venomous hatred: "You robbed my fate, and I will pay for it with your blood today!"
On one side is the tenderness of childhood sweethearts, on the other side is the revenge of the thousand-year-old snake demon; on the other side is the persistence of true love in the world, and on the other side is the turbulence of fateful entanglements. Bai Suzhen wanted to protect Xu Xian, but also to unblock the barrier in Liu Ruyan's heart; Liu Ruyan's snake heart glowed with green light, but in its roar was a cry of betrayal - what she wanted was never destruction, but the three hundred years of being seen and repaid.
The water in the West Lake rises and falls, and the shadow of Leifeng Pagoda tilts again and again.
