Disaster Stockpiling: My Safehouse Connects to a Cyberpunk World

Seventy-two hours before the Age of Torrential Rain begins, Lin Qingyan jolts awake in a cheap rental apartment. The agony of her previous life, when her own family cut open her abdomen to take her spatial jade pendant, still lingers. Then a twin vortex suddenly burns into her palm. Through her left eye, she sees ten tons of frozen meat piled high. Through her right, she sees a cyberpunk black market flooded with neon lights! "A ton of frozen meat for a mech core? Deal!" She locks her relatives, who are wailing and pounding on the door, outside in the acid rain and swipes her finger across a holographic screen. As a hurricane tears through the city's skyline, plasma cannons extend from her dilapidated apartment, and blue arcs of electricity split a hundred-meter wave. On a night of revelry, as she trades canned food for a nanotech repair pod, the space suddenly erupts in a bloody red glow. [Warning! Entropy-level apocalypse detected.] A cold mechanical voice pierces her to the bone: "Trader Lin Qingyan, you have been selected as a Dimensional Cleaner." A holographic map explodes into scarlet coordinates before her eyes. They're the hideout of the relatives who killed her in her previous life! "Target: Cleanse the apocalypse you're in." As the cannon barrels turn with a hum, she smiles and flicks her lighter. "How convenient... The first trash I'll clean up is you." Deep in the vortex, a crimson cybernetic eye stares at her through the trading interface. "Human, you clean up the apocalypse, but who will clean you up?"
