In the shadow of modern society, there is a mysterious space called "the cloud". The chosen ones will be pulled into the "cloud" without warning and forced to participate in a series of trials called "airspace". Each "airspace" is an independent closed world full of strange rules and deadly traps - it may be an old apartment with repeated death incidents, it may be a misty forest that can never be exited, or it may be an isolated island that requires the sacrifice of "truth" to survive.
The rules of the "cloud" are simple but cruel: after completing the core tasks of the airspace, you can obtain "fragments" (which can be redeemed for information, props or short-term "rest rights") and enter the next airspace; if you fail, you will be completely swallowed by the "cloud", leaving no trace in reality. But no one knows what the purpose of "Above the Clouds" is, and no one knows whether the "Fragments" can leave after being collected. All the legends about "Above the Clouds" are hidden in the corpses and lies in the airspace.
