After Winning 500 Million, I Restarted My Life

After winning 500 million yuan, I started my life over

Huang Jing, a girl from a county town, works as a programmer in Haishi, grinding through 996 workdays until her eyes are bloodshot from exhaustion.

On her birthday, a lottery ticket she bought on a whim wins her 500 million yuan.

She calmly submits her resignation: “This money is my ticket out, and the tuition for starting over.”

She hires a top personal trainer, studies obscure languages, earns a scuba diving license, and mends the wounds in her family of origin.

While her former coworkers are still caught up in the rat race over their mortgages, she has helped a hundred girls from county towns get into university.

“People say getting rich overnight can ruin a person,” Huang Jing says with a smile as she looks over the list of donations. “But I’ll prove that a clear head and the freedom money brings can give you a completely reborn life.”
