She's a wealthy heiress, but just after she comes of age, her stepmother kicks her out of the family home. In her darkest hour, she thinks she's found true love, only to discover that he was merely trying to swindle her out of her mother's inheritance. So she turns around and marries the scumbag's maternal uncle, Jin Du's most notorious playboy. She'll take back what's hers, one piece at a time. When their three-year agreement ends, she walks away without a backward glance, but the man refuses to divorce her. One secret identity after another is revealed, and she turns out to be a possessive, unhinged big shot. With red-rimmed eyes, he holds her captive in his arms. “We're not getting divorced.”
She smiles. “Was it fun, deceiving me?”
The man panics and goes to stand facing the wall. His aggrieved voice comes from behind him: “Honey, I'm sorry. I'll never go against you again.”
