[Transmigrate into a book, marriage before love, true and fake heiresses, face-slapping the scum] Lin Su transmigrates into a book and becomes the true heiress, a cannon-fodder supporting character in a period novel. Determined to escape her original fate of being hated by everyone and, ultimately, jumping into a river to die with nowhere else to turn, she divorces her scumbag husband and leaves him behind. By a twist of fate, she marries Qin Zhoucheng, a technician who has just arrived in the village. She never expects that this husband she happened to pick up to share a life with is actually a powerful figure with a hidden identity, as well as the original novel’s ultimate villain.
From a small village to the capital, and from the capital to Hong Kong, Lin Su and Qin Zhoucheng don’t become foils to the original novel’s protagonists. Instead, their lives grow more and more exciting. She starts a company, makes films, and becomes the beloved goddess of a generation. Her only problem is that her husband is getting clingier by the day. When he tries to kiss her in public once again, Lin Su pushes Qin Zhoucheng away with a blush. “Dear Mr. Qin, do you remember you’re supposed to be a cool and aloof diplomat?” Qin Zhoucheng kisses her cheek. “Dear Ms. Lin, I’m not just a diplomat. I’m your husband, and our marriage contract doesn’t count.”
It's a very good novel. It's just that the heroine has a good career, but I still want to read something more homely. It would be better if it has more interactions with the children and their families.
