The Revenge Storm of a Housewife tells the story of Lin Wan's triumphant comeback after twelve years as a full-time housewife. When she finds proof of her husband's affair on Zhou Mingxuan's phone, the world of a woman who had devoted herself entirely to her family comes crashing down. From catching his mistress, Su Qing, flirting in Lin Wan's own wedding dress to being pressured by her husband into signing an unfair divorce agreement, Lin Wan hits rock bottom.
But she refuses to give in. Drawing on the meticulous budgeting and keen understanding of people she developed as a housewife, as well as her professional experience as a former chief financial officer, Lin Wan fights back. She uses the evidence she has collected to reclaim her share of the assets, starts a fresh-food company using the skills she honed tracking grocery expenses, joins forces with neighborhood housewives and their information network to take down her rival's influencer career, and exploits her ex-husband's business vulnerabilities to dismantle his company piece by piece.
Once mocked as someone who could only keep busy around the stove, Lin Wan goes on to build a business empire spanning fresh food and maternal and infant products. She makes her cheating ex-husband and his mistress pay dearly, and proves that a housewife's value extends far beyond the kitchen. Her story is one of female awakening: true security has never come from marriage. It's something you earn for yourself.
