Lantern Light Guides the Way Home

The Tianhe Continent is on the brink of destruction! The rift in the Abyssal Depths, where the evil forces are sealed, is growing worse. Before the sacred tree Xuan Qing collapses, it turns its last pure source into a crying baby girl, Yun An Lan, who bears the sacred tree’s mark and the ancient sword Qingyun. Seventeen years later, a disturbance in the evil energy signals the arrival of the apocalypse in twenty years. The noble young master Han Yun Zhou, Cen Zhi Yuan, a half-demon swordsman carrying the burden of revenge, and the heroic Jiang Ci meet by chance and form the Homeward Bound team, setting out together for Yunqi Sect. After surviving deadly trials in the Heart-Testing Purgatory and the Illusory Dust Secret Realm, they become direct disciples. Yet the mystery of Yun An Lan’s origins gradually comes to light. She is not only the Abyssal Depths’ last hope, but also a sacrifice ordained by fate. The secret guarded by Elder Wangshu, and the mission and friendship carried by the young men, intertwine as the countdown to the apocalypse ticks on. How will they protect the road home in their hearts and find a way for the world to survive as its lights begin to go out?
