Core premise: The male lead, Lin Zhou, is reborn at seventeen and knows that in three years the world will suffer the “Fall of the Firmament.” Icarus, a mythical artificial angel, will fall to earth with his wings ablaze, triggering a global awakening of supernatural abilities and a cataclysm. In his previous life, Lin Zhou was too weak to seize the chance to save those he loved, and his friends and family died horribly. This time, armed with his memories and “Fragments of Fate,” he finds the fallen Icarus ahead of time and forms a bond with him as a human. Together, they fight the mysterious organization “Olympus,” which covets the angel’s power, and uncover the truth behind Icarus’s creation and the cause of the world’s cataclysm.
