On the day of her wedding at the Duke of Gu's residence, Gu Qingyi publicly breaks off her engagement to Shen Yan, a poor scholar, and frames him. He is about to be drowned in a pond as punishment. His boundless resentment awakens the “Eternal Emperor Livestream System,” and a vast sky screen splits open overhead, letting a million people in the capital witness the truth of the injustice. Shen Yan clears his name with a rain of gold from the heavens, wields a projection of the Chixiao Sword to punish the wicked, and declares himself “We,” stunning the entire court.
During his escape, Shen Yan discovers that the Nanyang dragon vein is blocked and the region is plagued by disease. He wins over the master craftsman Wang Tieshan and uses advanced inventions like magnetic-rail crossbows and thunderclap bombs to fight the Crown Prince's army. He also harnesses the dragon vein to create a “Dragon Roar Cannon,” turning the tide of battle. When purple-gold dragon scales appear on his body, the Imperial Astronomical Bureau realizes that he bears a lost imperial bloodline.
At death's door, Shen Yan draws magnetic poison into his body to repair his scales, while Zhou Qingzhi, the legitimate daughter of the Zhou family, protects him with her life. Near death, Wang Tieshan attains enlightenment in purple marrow, refining the magnetic poison into a “Dragon Fiend Cannon” that annihilates the enemy army. Beneath the setting sun, the new emperor lifts the unconscious Zhou Qingzhi and proclaims to the capital: “Wherever purple gold shines, it is all my land!”
This is an epic struggle for supremacy where technology clashes with the dragon vein, and a story of a humble-born emperor defying fate with the people's support as his foundation and a craftsman's ingenuity as his blade. As the livestream sky screen covers the Nine Provinces, Shen Yan will use the thunder of magnetic-rail crossbows to write the most stunning edict of accession.
High energy throughout, highly recommended! "Tianmu Live: I ascended the throne on the day I broke off the engagement" breaks the situation with the hard-core setting of "magnetic energy technology + imperial dragon vein", pushing the traditional power plot to a new height. Shen Yan was burdened with the poison of the Dragon Lock, and used magnetic rails to build the heavenly steps. He cut the emperor's palace with the red sky, and fought his way out of the desperate situation. Zhou Qingzhi is unparalleled in resourcefulness, Zhao Hu is fierce and brave, and the group portraits are vivid. The mysteries of the poisonous octopus nest in the deep sea and the return of the Nine Netherworlds to the ruins are layered layer by layer, blending oriental fantasy and science fiction. The innovative combination of the emperor system and the sky screen live broadcast makes the journey of "one emperor through the ages" more immersive in the barrage carnival. The resonance of the dragon veins cleanses the mountains and rivers, and the rail gun fire burns away the demons. An epic full of metal roars and dragon roars!
