After Wang Xuan killed the zombies in the back mountain, he went to Dukou Town. He saw that the town was in panic because of the female ghost in red who was asking for his life. The dead were all men with red marks on their necks. He stood guard at the ferry to stop the evil spirit in red clothes, and learned that the female ghost was Miss Su from the embroidery shop. She was killed by a wealthy businessman who regretted his marriage and threw herself into the river out of hatred. Wang Xuan fought to calm down his resentment, persuaded Miss Su to wake up, and helped her get married and be buried in proper clothes, thus putting an end to her obsession. Before leaving, the compass moved strangely, and the black air in the southwest became even worse. He held the mahogany sword and continued on the road to subdue the demon.
