[Two male leads + both each other’s first and only]
When he was seventeen, Huo Liezhen came across a little puppy that had wandered into a wolf’s den.
The pup was snowy white and so frail that a flick of one finger could kill it.
At first, Huo Liezhen only wanted to see how long it would last before the pack tore it apart.
He doted on it just so the pretty little pup could live a couple more days.
But the pup was incredibly tenacious. Though small, it had already grown fangs. Mingling among the jackals, it wasn’t torn to pieces; instead, it bit off a chunk of flesh from one of them.
Seeing the little pup among the jackals, battered and bloodied yet still clinging to life, Huo Liezhen finally became truly interested.
Later, he raised the pup into a big wolfdog and watched it tear the jackals apart.
Just as he was about to carry it back to his tiger’s den, it suddenly bit him in return.
Looking at the bite mark on his shoulder, Huo Liezhen laughed in exasperation. “I’ve spoiled you rotten. Now you even dare to bite your boss.”
