Marriage Before Love: Professor Gu, Please Accept My Secret Crush

Elegant, refined finance professor × quirky second-year graduate student and comic artist

A little thing like a secret crush is a girlish longing Shen Shiyu can’t keep hidden.

Shen Shiyu is a rising comic star in A University’s animation department. Her imagination paints a dazzling world, while in real life she’s a little absent-minded and adorably spacey. She keeps a secret in her heart, like a drawing tucked into the deepest corner of her sketchbook: she has a quiet crush on her neighbor, Gu Chuan, who is four years older, refined and gentle, and as radiant as the bright moon.

Gu Chuan is the youngest professor at A University’s School of Finance, a man of great learning and impeccable manners. He’s the perfect match in the eyes of the older generation, and the moonlight in Shen Shiyu’s girlish dreams, too precious for her to touch.

This is a story of tender affection blossoming under a family-arranged engagement, the sweet beginning of a girl’s secret crush coming true, and two souls discovering and warming one another amid the everyday rhythms of life. Watch as the refined professor falls for the quirky comic artist’s “heart-stirring sketches,” and the two compose a gentle, enduring love story after marriage.
