Novel Synopsis
**“Some encounters are accidental, while some reunions are destined.”**
Su Yu, a junior editor at a publishing house, stumbles upon a rare copy of Night Voyage while sorting through old books. This leads her to meet Qi Yu, the head of the publishing house. He is charming and she is clever and headstrong. Their shared love of literature brings them closer, and tender feelings quietly grow amid classical literature lectures, late-night conversations, and the scent of coffee.
But when Su Yu happens to learn that Qi Yu approached her because of a bet to “make her fall in love with him within three months,” her world comes crashing down. Heartbroken, she leaves for France, trying to bury the past in the night beside the Seine.
Two years later, a rainstorm on a Paris street brings them together again. He pursues her relentlessly, but she is already wearing another man’s ring. As old wounds are torn open, Qi Yu finally understands that true love is no game. It means being willing to wait, and crossing mountains and seas to find the person you lost through your own mistakes.
From the publishing house’s old-book warehouse to the lavender fields of Provence, will this journey of love and redemption let them set sail together once more?
**“Love is a late-night flight, cutting through the fog just to land in your heart.”**
