From Campus to the Stars

On the first day of school, I walked into the classroom wearing a red spaghetti-strap dress.

The parents’ group chat exploded: “Can a teacher like that really teach children well?”

When the principal called me in for a talk, I crossed my legs and scrolled through my phone. “You should worry about the sponsorship money you’ve been taking.”

They didn’t know that he was my real target: the gloomy boy sitting in the last row.

Then, as I felt around in his desk and touched a bloodstained school uniform, he suddenly grabbed my wrist. “Teacher, you’re crossing the line.”
