In the late 1970s, Mu Yiyang was ordered to embark on a new voyage with his comrades. The altitude of Maying Valley on the snowy plateau is about 2,000 meters, and the average annual temperature is about minus 2.2 Degrees Celsius. "It snows in midsummer and the cold is biting to the bones." The climate environment is very harsh. There are no birds flying in the sky, no grass growing on the ground, and wind-blown sand filling the ditch. Wear cotton-padded jackets all year round. The spring wind blows you black, the summer sun makes you red, the autumn wind brings dust, and the winter snow covers the earth. Mu Yiyang and his comrades overcame difficulties. They had no barracks to build by themselves and no conditions to create conditions. They gave full play to the spirit of a revolutionary soldier who was neither afraid of hardship nor death, and worked tenaciously to start the construction of a logistics support storage treasure house. After five years of hard work by all personnel, the largest munitions storage treasure house in the northwest region in the history of the Republic was built. There left behind the lives of several comrades who became revolutionary martyrs in this treasure house, as well as disabled revolutionary soldiers who were injured and disabled in the line of duty. The reason why I wrote this documentary is to show modern society that the People's Republic of China once had a group of engineering troops who dedicated their youth to national defense preparations and construction, leaving behind an invincible revolutionary spirit.
