Lin Mo, unemployed right after graduation, thought inheriting the old house was a windfall from heaven. Little did he know it was a death warrant delivered by the King of Hell.
A reflection combing its hair in the mirror at midnight, a "neighbor" whose footsteps always echoed right behind him, and a closet door that opened by itself every night at twelve...
Only when these "uninvited guests" forced their way into his life did Lin Mo realize that some bargains really weren't worth taking.
"Come on, guys, let's talk this over. Can I just give the house back? I've already paid three generations' worth of maintenance fees!"
The only response was the chilling sound of breathing, drawing closer and closer.
For other people, encountering ghosts was a brush with death. For him, it was just plain absurd.
"Back, back, back!" Lin Mo stood off against the air with a slipper in hand. "Come any closer and I'll put on 'Good Luck Comes'! It's guaranteed to deal with anyone who won't behave!"
In an age of supernatural resurgence, no one could stay out of it. With goosebumps all over, Lin Mo raced down the road between staying alive and making snarky remarks. After all, you had to be alive to worry about whether to add sausage to tomorrow's instant noodles.
But when would these hauntings finally end?
