The King of the Underworld Is Here: Lady Meng Has Run Off

[The Overworked Meng Po]+ [The Aloof King of the Underworld]+ [A Bloody Case Caused by a Pot of Meng Po Soup]

After suffering through the Underworld’s 24/7 work schedule, Meng Yao, the real Meng Po herself, finally broke down after brewing soup nonstop for eight hundred years. At the victory banquet, she drank to work up her courage, slept with her direct superior, King of the Underworld Ye Yun, then made herself a special batch of Meng Po soup and fled to the mortal realm. Now she’s just an utterly ordinary ghost-hunting celestial master. She doesn’t know any King of the Underworld!

That is, until one day, while she was hunting a vengeful spirit, a man who seemed to arrive with his own background music grabbed her chin. “Meng Yao, about the water you added to the soup...” She slapped a talisman onto him. “Hey, ghost buddy, want to try some Meng Po soup? Freshly brewed.”

Ye Yun watched his former subordinate chase vengeful spirits all over the mortal realm and suddenly realized: without the soup, she was a workaholic, but after drinking it... was she even more ruthless?
