On July 15, 2077, reality was torn apart by the global "Space-Time Wrinkle" event. The spears of the ancient Roman legions pierced the glass curtain walls of skyscrapers, the Ming and Qing Dynasty water transport ships fell from the clouds and smashed through the highways, the Jurassic pterosaurs flew over the ruins dyed red by neon lights, and the floating cars of the future city were stuck in the Shikumen of the Republic of China. When Su Wan, a graduate student in the history department, was surrounded by a phalanx of terracotta warriors and horses that suddenly appeared in the library, he met Huo Qubing, a Han Dynasty general who was holding a bronze sword to cut through the turbulence of time and space. When languages, beliefs and technologies from different eras collide in the collapse of modern civilization, survival becomes the only consensus. They must learn to use oracle bones to decipher the codes of future chips, use Zhuge Liannu to fight against out-of-control mechanical prosthetics, and find the key to stitch the rift in time and space in the ruins of Dunhuang murals and holographic projections. On the other side of the rift, there seem to be a pair of eyes staring at this chaotic symbiosis that spans thousands of years.
