Captured in the Crosshairs

A steady, calculating mastermind who is constrained by his own powerlessness x a reckless, proud player who loses his memories with every loop [Fully written before release / Infinite Flow / Rebirth / Ensemble Cast / Loops / Strong Leads] (An Infinite Flow framework with a story of redemption at its heart)

He wants to become a living person.

To breathe freely, eat what he wants, and sleep soundly.

Meng Huining opened his eyes and found himself in this place.

He had his original memories and an ordinary identity, but he could not be called alive.

He walked familiar roads and made choices that required him to let go, turning himself into all kinds of people again and again.

But he felt that someone was making all of this happen, watching him with calm, objective eyes, hiding tirelessly at his side. Watching him, an old acquaintance, become unrecognizable, transformed into someone entirely new.

Meng Huining felt a shiver of unease. These events, these images, all seemed to have happened before.

He seemed to have met these people long ago.

P.S.

① I'll update this later. I don't want to abandon it, either.

② Mild horror Infinite Flow. It gets melodramatic sometimes.

③ There is an ensemble cast as well as individual characters.

④ The protagonist is busy clearing scenarios and fighting monsters, so the romance comes later.
