Lin Xiaoxiao wakes up in a melodramatic novel as the agent who pushes a possessive CEO toward forcing a relationship.
Worse, she’s bound to a “CP System.” Her mission is to drag the main couple, Shen Xu and Song Jingyan, from a relationship score of -100, “death to us both,” all the way up to 100, “eternal true love.”
On one side is Shen Xu, a madly possessive CEO who wants to lock the painter Song Jingyan away. On the other is the aloof artist, who hates Shen Xu to the bone and is ready to go down fighting at any moment. Caught between them, Lin Xiaoxiao trembles with fear. Her mission to repair their relationship is harder than getting two fighting roosters to swear brotherhood.
The System’s missions are bizarre, the couple’s interactions painfully awkward, and love rivals and family opposition keep showing up one after another. Armed with ridiculous gadgets like an “anger radar” and “mind-reading chocolate,” Lin Xiaoxiao teeters on the brink of disaster again and again.
As the iceberg begins to melt and the hedgehog lowers its spines, the rescue that began as a mission becomes a new beginning for everyone.
Of course, the happiest of all is Lin Xiaoxiao herself, who can’t get enough of their romantic moments.
