Apocalypse Devourer: I Don’t Want to Become a Monster!

[Giant Beast Battles + Revenge and Corruption + Monster Transformation + The Darkness of Human Nature + Mild Power Fantasy]

Liu Meng awakened an S-rank devouring ability that lets him feed on source beasts to evolve. The price is that every time he uses it, he takes on traits of the source beasts. He kept this power suppressed, terrified of being treated like a monster. But when he saw his teammates in mortal danger, he was forced to unleash his ability and save them, exposing his secret in the process.

Yet gratitude wasn’t what awaited him. His former comrades, who had once fought by his side, didn’t hesitate to identify him as a “source beast” that had to be eliminated. One cold-blooded betrayal followed another: his team abandoned him completely, and the mobile city declared him a monster to be “purified.”

Amid inhuman suffering and bone-deep hatred, revenge became the only thing keeping him alive. He would tear the traitors apart, and reclaim the right to be considered “human” that had been so cruelly taken from him!

Blood debts must be paid in blood. At last, as he stood atop the countless corpses of his enemies and reclaimed his proof of “humanity,” he suddenly realized...

He was no longer human.
