In 20XX, the "Red Mist Catastrophe" struck without warning. A blood-red fog swallowed Jinhai City, mutated creatures known as "Mistwalkers" ran rampant, and civilization collapsed. Chen Ye, a former rescue team captain, led survivors including Lin Xi, a graduate student in biology, and Old Zheng, a mechanic, as they fled their shelter and launched a hundred-day survival plan. They crossed the ruins and fought off marauders, struggling between suspicion and trust. After ninety days of hardship, they finally reached a safe zone, only to discover that a new crisis had already begun to unfold.
