The moment Yan Zhuo opened her eyes, she saw a diamond-studded coffin and a black-and-white funeral portrait. The System slammed a mission down on her: “Come back to life and flip the bird to win 80 million.”

Yan Zhuo: “I’m in!”

She yanked off her fake long hair and grabbed the mic at her own funeral. “Gu Jingzhou, you’re in for a world of trouble, ” Somehow, she turned the song “Good Luck” into a death curse.

#YanZhuoPartiesOnHerOwnGrave# shot straight to the top of the trending searches.

In just 72 hours, she went from a ridiculed, love-struck cannon fodder to the internet’s resident harbinger of doom, clapping back at haters on Weibo and mowing down paparazzi with an electric scooter.

Even crazier, she signed up for a dating reality show alongside her scumbag ex and his shameless new flame.

While others played at true love, she held a funeral for a delusional man. While others sent messages about their crushes, she texted Jiang Jin, “Reply 1 for tonight’s dinner recipe.” While others struggled to survive in the wilderness, she snapped a dead tree in half with her bare hands and casually gave Huo Xiao a thousand-years-of-pain.

Viewers: “How is this dating show more thrilling than a horror movie?”

Only Jiang Jin, the financial tycoon who treats Wall Street like a beginner’s zone, could match her move for move. She flipped him off, and he handed her a trash can as a “merit box.” She roasted people, and he brought her snacks. She swung a hammer at a lock, and he applauded. “That’s amazing!”

When asked why he joined the dating show, Yan Zhuo munched on durian. “To make money!”

Jiang Jin smiled. “What a coincidence. I came for you.”

A plan to save a hopeless romantic? No, this is Yan Zhuo’s grand tour of going absolutely bonkers.

After all

“Men may run off, but 80 million will always stay loyal.”

“Better to run someone over than waste energy tearing yourself apart.”
