[Historical Romance and Angst, Dual Souls, Transmigration, Mind Reading]
Beneath the flourishing age of Tianqi, dark currents run deep.
A three-hundred-year conspiracy begins to surface through a string of “Locust Plague Cases.”
Qiu Yuan, a medical practitioner of the mystic arts, can identify poison and solve crimes with a silver needle. To clear her grandfather’s name after he was falsely accused of treason, she tracks the sinister Locust Cult.
Behind her seemingly distant eyes lie a dogged pursuit of the truth and a tenderness for the weak. The martial world calls her the “Silver Needle Judge.”
Nan Huaiqing, a deputy minister of the Ministry of Justice, wears elegant moon-white robes and has the gentle bearing of jade. A brilliant investigator, he harbors a secret: two souls share his body. Within him sleeps the soul of a great shaman from three hundred years ago. By day, he is the meticulous “Jade-Faced Deputy Minister”; by night, he may be seized by murderous rage and become a “Soul-Splitter,” beyond the bounds of good and evil.
One bizarre murder after another draws the two together.
Qiu Yuan discovers that the two souls within Nan Huaiqing conceal a shocking secret.
What happens when her determination to clear her name collides with a fated entanglement three hundred years in the making?
Wow, the plot is so tight and not too confusing, I look forward to it😊
