Hated by the Entire Internet? No Problem, I’ll Help Sister Meng Win Best Actor

[One heroine + entertainment industry + celebrities + variety shows + award-winning actor + filming]

I transmigrate into a disgraced actor hated by the entire internet, and the moment I open my eyes, I'm saddled with a five-million-yuan breach-of-contract fee. My agency is forcing me to star in an erotic film?

Lin Feng looks at the trending hashtag on his phone, #LinFengGetOutOfTheEntertainmentIndustry, and laughs.

So on the set of A Twelve-Hour Tale of Chang'an, he turns a eunuch's one line into the internet's hotly discussed “sinister moonlight.” The director adds scenes on the spot: “This kid's got what it takes!”

Just as he's making a comeback, top-tier star Meng Ziyi corners him: “Why are you pretending to be a serious actor? We still haven't settled the score over you stealing my center spot last time!”

Lin Feng raises an eyebrow. “How about we team up as a couple? I'll win Best Actor, you'll win Best Actress, and we'll face-slap all the haters and rumors. And maybe... see if we can make the act real?”

Meng Ziyi sneers. “Get lost!”

Yet when he gets attacked online, she posts: “Who do you think you are, insulting someone who's mine?”

From a eunuch extra mocked by the entire internet to a Chinese actor who wins an Oscar;

from bickering rivals to a perfect couple walking the red carpet side by side.

Facing the cameras, Lin Feng takes Meng Ziyi's hand and holds it tight. “Everyone says I helped her win Best Actress. But the truth is... she was the one who led me out of the darkness and helped me become a light.”

[With the System at my side and acting skills to spare, I'm even going to bring home an award-winning actress as my wife!]
