The Ming Dynasty: Lying Low Until the Founding Emperor Hears My Thoughts

Tang Yuan transmigrates to the Ming Dynasty and becomes Tang He's younger brother.

He also awakens the “Utterly Ordinary Lie Flat System.” All he has to do is lie flat like a salted fish, and he can earn endless rewards and benefits.

Being an official under the Hongwu Emperor is a high-risk job. To make sure his powerful older brother can retire in one piece, Tang Yuan repeatedly reminds Tang He to keep a low profile at court.

But the Hongwu Emperor does things his own way, and can actually hear Tang Yuan's inner thoughts.

“Your Majesty is wise. Banning ships from going to sea is truly a policy that benefits both the nation and its people!”

Tang Yuan: [What a load of crap! The maritime ban didn't stop Japanese pirates and rebels from harassing the coastal regions. It only cut off the livelihoods of the people who lived there. This is exactly how you force people to become outlaws!]

Zhu Yuanzhang: “I believe Hu Weiyong is a great talent, worthy of an important post!”

[Go ahead, appoint him! One day, he’ll nearly take your dragon throne for himself!]

Zhu Yuanzhang: “...”

And so, Tang Yuan, a salted fish through and through, somehow ended up being dragged into court by Zhu Yuanzhang.
