Also known as “The Gentle Sweetheart Is Loved Obsessively by a Mad CEO”
[Two heroines + yandere + confinement + forced love + escape + super-sweet romance in the later half]
A chance collision at an art museum on a rainy night sends Su Wan, a gentle art history graduate student, straight into the deep, dark eyes of Ling Yue, the head of a tech empire notorious for her ruthless, obsessive nature.
Ling Yue has always kept her world under her own control. Then she meets Su Wan, like a ray of moonlight that has wandered in unexpectedly, cool and gentle. In an instant, Su Wan becomes an obsession Ling Yue is determined to claim. She weaves an airtight net of wealth and power, closing in step by step in the name of “liking” her, hoping to imprison that moonlight forever in her own deep sea.
Beneath Su Wan’s gentleness lies a stubborn resilience. She longs for freedom and an equal relationship, yet she keeps losing ground under Ling Yue’s forceful love. On one side is suffocating possessiveness; on the other, a stirring she cannot ignore. She wants to protect her friends and family, yet she cannot break free of the entanglement.
When an obsessive CEO’s need for control collides with a gentle woman’s resolve, and the city’s neon lights illuminate their hidden feelings, this encounter that began by chance will ultimately descend into a surrender no one could have predicted, amid the push and pull of love and hate.
She is the deep sea, obsessively yearning for her one and only moonlight. She is the moonlight, trapped in a suffocating embrace, unsure whether to break free or give in.
The author is actually very curious in the middle and late stages, why did the heroine suddenly recall things about college and Ling Yue? Did they know each other at that time? But the heroine was forgotten later? Remember it again? Is there any amnesia aspect here? Then the change there was very sudden. Why did the heroine suddenly stop running away? When did this Chen Mo become different? It seemed like it was the first time for all of them to meet, but he said that they should not be exposed to each other during college 🤔
How can I put it this way? It's still quite interesting, but in the middle of about 30 chapters, it's a bit confusing. I suddenly recalled what happened in college, and there's no foreshadowing or any previous relationship. I've known each other before. Also, I think some details make Ling Yue look like a boy (but I personally feel sorry if it offends me), but overall it's okay.
Very well written. One star is deducted because the other woman is always written as a man later on. There is a sudden change in the middle section, which is very unnatural, as if the memory has been erased. After that section, the following content starts to become a bit weird. The other woman always changes gender inexplicably, which is very weird, you know? 😄
Super invincible and beautiful! The emotional language and movements are very delicately portrayed, five-star recommendation!
Is this an author?
Good-looking, good-looking, good-looking
It's very interesting and the content is very well written.
I think it's quite good, but the last part is a bit strange, but the summary is a perfect and good-looking book.
This book is really good and I have read it twice.
The writing is delicate and smooth.
