Worldbuilding
Time period: The near future. Technology is slightly more advanced than it is today, and countries are engaged in a new round of technological competition as international tensions rise.
Technological background: Humanity stands on the eve of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Quantum computing, controlled nuclear fusion, gene editing, and other technologies are on the verge of breakthroughs, but have run into bottlenecks in fundamental theory.
Core conflict: After the protagonist acquires a black-tech System, he leads a team in breaking through Western technological barriers and bringing about China's rise as a technological power, all while facing obstruction from international rivals and a mysterious organization.
Synopsis
System Awakening: Cheng Ran, a materials science PhD, accidentally activates the "Civilization Leap System" in his lab and acquires his first piece of black tech: quantum dot display technology. Thus begins his journey to make his country a technological powerhouse.
Making a Name for Himself: Cheng Ran forms a team and establishes Spark Technology. They break through foreign technological barriers and begin mass-producing quantum dot screens, sparking an industry revolution.
Technological Advancement: The System unlocks controlled nuclear fusion technology. Cheng Ran leads his team in secret research at a base in the northwest, successfully achieving 52 seconds of continuous discharge and astonishing the scientific community.
International Rivalry: Cheng Ran's technological breakthroughs put the West on alert. The United States sends corporate spy Sophia to get close to him and steal secrets, while launching "Project Torch" in an attempt to copy China's achievements.
Crisis and Breakthrough: The experimental apparatus is sabotaged by an unknown party. Cheng Ran uses the System to repair it in an emergency and achieve a breakthrough, extending the discharge time to 300 seconds and laying the groundwork for commercial applications.
