[Cold CEO x Haughty Princess] [Both leads are pure] [Ancient-to-modern transmigration]
Synopsis:
Princess Zhou Chaoning of Dazhao is pushed into a dry well by her new husband on their wedding night, condemned as “ill-omened.” Her soul, full of resentment, transmigrates into the body of Zhou Zhaoning, a modern-day overworked intern.
Starting out as an overworked corporate drone, she is caught in a power struggle among senior executives and shunted off to the secretarial department as a nobody. But her superb medical skills and ancient political savvy unexpectedly draw her into the life of CEO Gu Yuheng.
Gu Yuheng is a cool and aloof domineering CEO, haunted for years by the image of the childhood savior who once rescued him. Zhou Zhaoning’s features and mannerisms remind him of that memory, and after uncovering the undercurrents in the secretarial department, he decisively appoints her as his personal secretary.
The collision of ancient and modern worlds leads to one comic situation after another. The princess uses her courtly medical skills to treat his hidden ailment, but refuses to live with him because of propriety between men and women. His supposed childhood savior returns from abroad and claims the credit, while his second uncle stirs up trouble, leaving their trust on the verge of collapse.
