Light reverse harem + the good guys’ side + no canon-couple breakups + beautiful and tragic characters + original-character plot
Main character: Han Gongshui (possible Jing Rei and HagiMatsu misunderstandings)
Han Gongshui wakes to the sound of bells, clutching a bookstore key.
His medical records say “retrograde amnesia,” while the man in the mirror has sharp, cold features and calluses from years of holding a gun. He opens his passport: Han Gongshui, twenty-eight, owner of an old bookstore.
“Am I crazy?” he scoffs at the empty shop. “I came to a seaside town to sell secondhand books?”
Scattered memories drift through his mind like torn pages: black clothes, blood, a kiss on his collarbone. One rainy night, he fled from someone in a panic, but forgot what he had been afraid of. Then he finds a box of sealed files in the bookstore basement. His own handwriting leaps out at him:
Be careful… everyone
The church’s white doves will never fall in love with a crow
“Chapter 13 of the Bible says love never fails.”
“But between us, sin is the only thing that never ends.”
Han Gongshui has no CP. This is a light reverse-harem story: other characters may develop one-sided feelings for him and act on them, but this is not a harem that breaks up canon couples.
There are plenty of misunderstandings, and both real and fake heartbreak. If that’s not your thing, please don’t read.
Note: The Karasuma family includes headcanons. The villains are massively empowered, so this may not be for fans of the purely villainous side. All criminal acts must be punished.
There may be some angst, but the ending is happy.
The police academy group will all be saved; no guarantees for anyone else.
A mix of comedy and serious drama.
There are many original characters and original plotlines. They won’t be disparaged, because Detective Conan’s canon cases may only update sporadically. But this story will not be updated.
Let me review it first and look forward to the follow-up plot development.
A very interesting and readable book, a little bit brain-burning [heart-warming]
