Who gets to decide what counts as someone's "ideal type"?
Shen Zhao and Zhou Yu'an are widely regarded as the school's "perfect couple."
One is a gentle, resolute all-around top student; the other, a low-key, soothing number-one in their grade. They share an effortless understanding, but their relationship has always remained ambiguous, until transfer student Lin Xiao arrives and completely upends the balance.
Lin Xiao is a carefree, unruly basketball star. He excels academically but has a flamboyant style. As soon as he arrives, he publicly challenges Zhou Yu'an: "The person you don't dare pursue, I'll go after." The girls go wild comparing the two and debating which one is the "ideal type," while Shen Zhao is dragged into this "war":
· Zhou Yu'an (childhood friend): "We've known each other longer. You obviously have feelings for me."
· Lin Xiao (bold newcomer): "If we'd met at a different time, would you have chosen me?"
When "stability" meets "heart-fluttering excitement," and "familiarity" collides with "novelty," Shen Zhao's choice is about more than love. It's also a test of youth, courage, and self-discovery.
The "ideal type war" has no winner or loser, only who falls first and who lets go first.
