1983: It All Began on the Dream of the Red Chamber Set

(Period setting + lighthearted + intelligent protagonist + entertainment industry godfather) After transmigrating to 1983, Lin Xiangyang becomes a sent-down youth returning to the city. When he wakes up, he is on a train heading back to Beijing. A beautiful young woman with an elegant bearing is sitting beside him. “Lin Xiangyang, wake up. Do you have any water? I’m a little thirsty.” “You’re asking me for water, miss? Who are you?” “I’m Chen Xiaoxu. My father asked you to accompany me to the Dream of the Red Chamber production crew.” “Y-you’re Chen Xiaoxu?” “Of course. Did you sleep yourself silly?” As the memories of his predecessor quickly merge with his own, Lin Xiangyang immediately realizes that the young woman before him is none other than the actress who played Lin Daiyu in the 1987 version of Dream of the Red Chamber. “Sorry… sorry, I was still groggy from sleep. I remember now.”
