Neon City, a jungle forged from steel, where a glittering surface hides a dark river of crime. Lei Shi, tyrant of the shadow empire, wields a scepter named Thunder and keeps its sharpest weapon imprisoned: Kamil. He personally tempered Kamil in the mud, shaping him into a cold blade, never knowing that one day the blade would reflect the abyss within him.

When the spear of the law’s light pierces the darkness, Anmushi of the police closes in step by step. In court, Kamil gives self-destructive testimony that sends Lei Shi back to the pinnacle of power, and personally burns away any chance of returning to the light. Back under Thunder’s rule, Kamil’s eyes are no longer vacant. Beneath the tempered blade burns a silent flame of ice, along with a struggling conscience.

The storm never ends. Ambitions for a new direction light the fuse of betrayal, while the brutal death of a blood relative tears away the disguise of intelligence broker Palos. To protect this last chance at redemption, Lei Shi joins forces with his sworn enemy, unleashing a raging inferno of revenge. The neon lights of Neon City illuminate an even bloodier darkness.

The soul-shattering power of prophecy awakening within Kamil is a double-edged sword that lets him see danger, but also hastens his disintegration. Lei Shi struggles between tyrant and penitent, Palos reforges his blade amid the ashes of loyalty, and Anmushi searches for a foothold in the mire of justice.

This is a contest with no winners. Power struggles, loyalty runs red, and the road to redemption is paved with bones. When a shadow begins searching for its own light, can the hand that holds the blade still control its cutting edge as it turns against its wielder? Where will the tempered blade strike in the end? The abyss still echoes in the shadows of Neon City, waiting for the final answer.
