The Wanderer's Fate

As a wandering physician born into a poor family and abandoned by his clan, Lin Feng only wants to save lives and earn enough to get by. That is, until he encounters a dying Imperial Guard in a ruined temple on a stormy night. With his final breath, the man entrusts Lin Feng with a jade pendant carved with a dragon. "The dragon vein is withering... The realm... will fall into chaos..." The next day, the mysterious woman Liu Ruyan barges into his clinic with a blade in hand. "Hand over the pendant, or die!" Forced into the maelstrom, Lin Feng discovers that the foolish emperor, in his quest for immortality, is using dark sorcery to drain the dragon vein of its vital essence. When Lin Feng tries to heal the wounds in the earth's veins with his medical skills, the entire capital suddenly trembles. The dragon vein's anguished wail is even more deafening than the cries of a grieving people.
