[Alternate Apocalypse + Ensemble Cast]
At the instant Song Suiqian pulled the trigger, she never imagined that the finish line of this live-action jungle shooting competition would be an apocalypse filled with zombie howls.
The pain of her fall had not yet faded when a mechanical voice suddenly rang in her mind: "Ding! System Xiao Z has been bound."
Even more absurdly, her transmigration starter pack was the ability to understand the hoarse sounds spilling from zombies' throats. Those shambling monsters became living maps that could "talk."
Her former love of shooting became a survival skill, while Xiao Z's prompts became her only guide.
But fate brought her together with four others struggling to survive: a mechanical enthusiast skilled at modifying weapons, a medical student with both Chinese and Western medicine buffs, a former armed police officer with top-notch combat skills, and a tech nerd carrying a microcomputer and searching for a signal.
When five pairs of hands join together, when gunshots mingle with the zombies' "whispers," what kind of growth arc will this survival squad formed in the apocalypse trace through a broken world?
"Xiao Z, translate what it just said."
"Reporting to the Host, it said... there's a big one behind us."
