The Specialty Barbershop

Readers under eighteen should proceed with caution. Some scenes may be disturbing.

I accidentally gave the book the wrong title. The content has nothing to do with the title.

Each chapter is a standalone story, so feel free to skip around.

It gets even more exciting later.

There are complicated dealings at the hotel and inscrutable encounters at places of leisure. Students, children, men and women of all ages each have their own concerns. Street vendors, law enforcement officers, and all kinds of ordinary people navigate everyday family squabbles and hidden currents. Arguments between mothers-in-law and daughters-in-law conceal simmering resentments; those still living carry burdens they cannot speak of, while old memories hold ties that have yet to be broken.
