Fire Phoenix: The Edge of the Blaze

Eighteen-year-old Xuanyuan Chen comes from a family of soldiers. Her parents and grandparents are all battle-hardened servicemen, and she spent her childhood moving between military camps. After turning ten, she grew up on her own. Exceptionally gifted, she has mastered Muay Thai and military combat, and is also a skilled hacker. Her physical abilities far surpass those of her peers. Her only “weakness” is her height: at 167 centimeters, she looks a little petite beside the tall female soldiers. But anyone who dares tease her for being short will pay a “painful” price.

Dreaming of becoming a special forces soldier, Xuanyuan Chen signs up for the Fire Phoenix Women’s Special Forces selection. The cold and stern Lei Zhan, known as Thunder God, serves as head instructor. Though young, he is highly experienced, and leads the Thunderbolt Commando Unit in charge of the training. Facing trials that are nearly brutal, Xuanyuan Chen draws on her formidable skills and unyielding will to push past her limits time and again, becoming one of the top candidates. But the real challenges are only just beginning: combat missions, life-and-death trials, bonds with her comrades, and the subtle feelings growing between her and Lei Zhan...

Forged in these blazing trials of will, the Fire Phoenix will rise from the ashes!
