Zenless Zone Zero: I Still Can’t Quite Remember the Luck I Had That Day

(A YuuAi fanfic with equal focus on both! There may be a little OOC, so please don't mind!)

(A slice-of-life story. To keep things from getting dull, there'll be some running gags and comedy.)

(Yuri! Yuri! Yuri! Light yuri! Light yuri! Light yuri! Equal-focus light yuri!)

That day, I thought I was lucky. I was lucky to have survived.

I held the pretty hair clip, relieved to have made it through alive.

But I never imagined that one day in the future, I would meet her.

Much less that all her misfortune... would be because of me.

I was the reason she lost her father. The luck I borrowed that day brought about her misfortune in the future. I owe her for that.

I owe her a life.

But... it seems she doesn't need that life.

Maybe meeting her really did take all the luck I had in my life.

It had to be a lifetime's worth of luck for me to meet her.

“Alice, what do you think of this summer?”

“It's been exhausting and kind of strange, but... it's definitely the most unforgettable summer I've ever had.”

“Don't be so sure. We still have plenty of summers ahead of us, don't we?”

“Yeah.”
