Transmigrated to Republican China: From the Start, a Film Projectionist in the Northeast

Wang Zhongguo faints at the 731 Museum and wakes up to find himself a student returning to Northeast China in 1928.

He vomits nonstop in the ship's cabin, but a cold prompt suddenly rings in his mind:

“Emotion Value System activated. First prize: 1,000 film projectors and a documentary on Unit 731.”

As he disembarks, Zhang Xiaoshuai claps him on the shoulder and jokes, “Young Master Wang, what kind of studies left you looking like your soul's been sick?”

He grabs him tightly. “Find a secret room. I'll show you how the Japanese cut people up while they're still alive.”

The film reels turn in the secret room. Zhang Xiaoshuai's face goes from cheerful to ashen, and finally he punches straight through the table:

“Father's still negotiating railways with them? I'll go burn down the Kwantung Army headquarters right now!”

Wang Zhongguo holds him back. “Burn it down, and there'll be a new headquarters tomorrow.”

“What we need to set alight is the fire in people's hearts.”
