[Hellish start! A tycoon’s comeback! A ruthless merchant “forces” zombies to work and grind the apocalypse into submission!]
Bai Le died a spectacular death: her parents sold her to a fool to produce an heir, then a truck sent her flying. To top it all off, she was saddled with a ten-billion-crystal debt.
Can’t pay it back? Enjoy a one-day tour with a zombie horde, death included.
System: [Ding! Welcome to the Apocalypse Supermarket. Today’s KPI: sell out this shelf, or we all die.]
The ruthless merchant is forced into action:
Bottled water: one crystal each. Near-expiration instant noodles: the human big shots have to fight over them!
Buy ten blood bags, get a straw free. Zombie bulk orders welcome!
Buy pet food by the ton. Even mutated beasts love it!
Super fertilizer makes its debut. Mutated plants are placing orders like crazy. It’s the secret to lush growth!
Bai Le eyes the hungry zombies outside the store: cheap labor, score!
Strength-mutated zombies? Twenty-four-hour movers, restocking shelves at lightning speed!
Speed-mutated zombies? Supermarket couriers who can ignore zombie attacks and always deliver!
Psychic zombies? Warehouse managers who track inventory down to the last grain and moonlight as anti-theft security cameras!
“Never thought I’d see the day! Zombies can ring up my purchases and give me change?”
“Help! The zombie security squad chased off the crystal thieves for me!”
The System’s CPU burns out. [Host, you’re the real ruthless merchant!]
Much later, humans and zombies were locked in a fierce battle.
Inside the supermarket, the zombie employees diligently wiped down the shelves while Bai Le lounged on a mountain of crystals, counting her money.
“During the human-zombie war, all store goods are 10% more expensive.”
A really novel apocalyptic novel, unlike the usual supermarkets that protect the host. Rather, I really think of myself as the boss of a supermarket. I will encounter bad people and solve them myself/forced to solve them [laughs evilly] After all, if I don't solve them, there will be punishments. 😂 I've seen a bunch of thieves in supermarkets robbing things, but I've never seen anyone who can electrocute the boss. It's quite novel, so miserable, I feel sorry for the baby 😏 There's also the transaction with zombies and stuff that's quite novel, but it's a pity that there are too few of them, and I haven't finished it yet, so it's not enough to read.
Different from other types of post-apocalyptic supermarket articles, this one really gave me a relatively novel reading experience and is good to read👀. I assure you based on my reading time, the only shortcoming is that it is serialized.
Nice! Big cheers for the author!
