The Hidden History of Primordial Spirits

All these years later, when I trace everything back to its source, it all began in June 1995, when I received those three books. I was about to finish eighth grade and had started studying seriously. I sent 120 yuan to order a set of books on study methods, but the books I ordered never arrived. Instead, over a month later, I received a package from another address in Xi’an, Shaanxi. It contained three books: one recorded ancient stories that seemed almost like legends; another was a collection of scriptures written mostly in a semi-classical style, titled The Primordial Spirit Sutra; and the last covered the origins of various occult techniques and how they worked. I could understand most of the stories in the first book. The scriptures in the second left me with the feeling that I almost understood them, and I found them interesting. I tried out a few of the occult techniques in the third book, but never practiced them seriously. I’ll talk about the contents of these three books in detail later., Author: Mumuhuang (Mumu Huang)
