Lin Chen, a modern physics researcher, transmigrates by accident and becomes Mo Yuan, a notorious villain in the cultivation world who is destined to be killed by the Eternal Great Emperor Xiao Jinyuan.
From the start, it is hell mode. He must suppress the Heart-Eating Demonic Art left behind by the original Mo Yuan, fend off the righteous sects, and avoid the famously ruthless future emperor.
But he never expected Xiao Jinyuan, who should have been his sworn enemy, to treat him differently from their very first meeting. From the Reincarnation Mirror in the Immortal-Burial Valley revealing the secret of their twin souls, to Xiao Jinyuan declaring in public, “Mo Yuan is mine,” the plot has gone completely off the rails.
“You and I walk different paths, righteous and evil. There is nothing to gain from working together.”
“I insist on getting entangled with you.”
When scientific thinking collides with the laws of cultivation, and a fake villain with an overpowering will to survive meets a real emperor with an overwhelming desire to possess him, the two set out to unravel the mysteries of time and space and overturn a tragic fate. Before long, neither can tell whether they are cooperating or falling helplessly under each other’s spell.
Who says a villain has to die? This time, the Eternal Great Emperor will overturn the Three Realms for him.
Generally speaking, I feel that this book is very novel and is about time travel and fantasy. However, the more I read it, the more I feel that the male protagonist and the villain are very annoying. It should be a double male protagonist. It is very imaginative. I highly recommend it.
