Echoes from the Depths of Lunar Soil

[No System, serious hard science fiction]

Deep in the filthy pipes of the Moon’s Mare Tranquillitatis base, methane miner Chen Xing witnesses the “accidental” crash of an aircraft carrying Lia von Eisenbach, a noble girl. He risks his life to rescue the sole survivor, only to become the scapegoat in a carefully orchestrated murder case. The cold marks left by a wrench, the missing black box, the interference signal pointing to him: every piece of evidence is airtight.

Fleeing for his life, Chen Xing falls into the base’s oldest rock strata and discovers a floating, inhuman geometric object. This silent observer “brands” the truth directly into his consciousness: it was no accident, but murder. And the killer is using the base’s ironclad order to hunt him down.

Dragging along his battered robot companion, Wali, Chen Xing becomes a “data ghost” in the lunar soil’s depths, painstakingly piecing together evidence with the alien geometric object’s cold logic and his own engineering skills. Meanwhile, the awakened Lia discovers that she is trapped in a gilded cage in “Eden,” where lies are wrapped in the guise of “protection.”

The miner’s struggle to survive and the noble girl’s awakening unexpectedly intertwine beneath the Moon’s cold exterior. They must fight not only a ruthless enforcer, but an entire twisted class system and a meticulously planned conspiracy to silence them. The price of exposing the truth may be heavier than death: it will reveal the darkness humanity still cannot escape beneath the stars, and bring them into contact with the cold cosmic laws embodied by the silent geometric object watching everything from the abyss.
