In the city of Duoluo, desire and violence are the only laws.
Murong Yuan treads through neon lights and bloodstains like a lone wolf roaming a rotting paradise. He hates this city, and even curses it to “vanish from the face of the earth.”
His curse comes true.
The sky tears apart, and purple light devours everything. When he opens his eyes again, he is in hell: twisted ruins, frenzied crowds, and monsters sharpening their claws in the shadows.
A cold glove is thrust into his hand. “Put it on and resonate! Choose your bonded object. It’s your ticket to survival.”
A shadow? A lighter? A crow?
When the darkness beneath his feet turns into a pitch-black scythe that devours light, and a colossal being named [Jormungandr] senses his gaze, Murong Yuan knows this is no street fight.
This is a brutal evolution that begins at LV0, a hopeless staircase climbed over piles of corpses.
And that mysterious blue-haired man, Xiao Shi, always wears an amused smile. “Shadow, have we... met somewhere before?”
Survive.
Tear apart every monster in your way and climb toward the unknown end.
The rhythm of the plot is a bit too fast, the background of the story is too compact, the subject matter is relatively novel, but it is a bit crowded to watch, and the mind is a bit overwhelming. The relationship between the characters and the turning of events are not smooth enough. My personal suggestion is to slow down the pace appropriately, and first use some less tense chats and small events to properly reflect the characters' personalities and world background. So far, it is good. Good reviews for now. The overall plot rhythm and details have been revised. It is now a top-notch work, worthy of its reputation.
