Kyushu was blocked by the mysterious power set by external evil spirits, and became a prison where civilization declined and aliens ravaged. Qin Ping'an, a teacher at Wenyuan Primary School in Nanning Town, witnessed the plight of human beings who were ignorant and self-destructive and alien beasts were rampant. He used words as the bones and classics as the soul to create a literary education. Students recited classics to strengthen their courage, and writing the word "shou" built a barrier, allowing the fire of "knowledge and responsibility" to start a prairie fire in the school, making Nanning Town the first peaceful place.
In order to explore the source of the blockade, Qin Ping'an went into the mountains to understand that "Tao follows nature", and used the spirit of literature and Taoism to guide the auras of mountains and rivers to practice, which not only strengthened his body to defend against enemies, but also discovered the truth behind the blockade. He enlightened the mandrill "Shi Gandang" and the deer girl "Lingxi" who knew the human language to be spiritual tribes. He proposed that "human beings and spirits have the same origin", formed a coalition to open up the blockade nodes, and promoted the interoperability of Kyushu.
Literature and Taoism became the basis of education, Taoism and law became the skills of survival, the spirit tribe contributed unique skills, and Kyushu ushered in a golden age. However, there are hidden cracks in the prosperous age: human monks are obsessed with power and plunder the spirit tribe. Some spirit tribes collude with evil demons to rebel. Qin Ping'an is framed and the trust crisis intensifies. In the end, the evil spirit tore through the barrier and Kyushu fell.
Qin Ping'an spent all his cultivation and held the "Wenxin Sword" to fend off evil spirits alone. He chanted the holy precepts of "Heaven moves vigorously and a gentleman strives for self-improvement." He used flesh and blood as a shield to protect the survivors and fled with their classics. Disciple Mo Sheng, Ling tide and others from the spiritual tribe went through struggles, and each shouldered the responsibility of inheriting the classics and guarding the spiritual veins, and the fire of civilization continued on the ruins.
