The heroine is ridiculously overpowered, and her author gives her an entire powerful new gray faction: the Kanna Group, a yakuza organization that leads Japan's underworld, joins the fray. The heroine herself is exceptionally strong, so together they're a formidable force opposing the Organization. The main plot is about fighting the Organization, and characters on the black side will die. If you're fond of the Organization, proceed with caution.
She'll save people, including the Police Academy group, and be close to the Red Team. Canon pairings such as Shinichi and Ran won't be broken up.
All in all, this is still a sweet romance with a guaranteed happy ending. The author isn't clever enough and isn't good at writing battle-of-wits or mystery stories, so the case plot will mainly follow the original.
