1862: Restoring the Glory of Chinese Laborers in America

[Period setting + America + patriotism + return to China] In 1862, the American Civil War raged, and Chinese laborers’ lives were worth less than weeds.

Lin Tao awoke amid the smoke of the Battle of Antietam, inheriting the identity of a Chinese merchant’s son and a family on the brink of ruin.

It was the worst of times. The tides were surging, and his countrymen struggled to survive in a foreign land.

It was also the best of times. The fractures left by war gave him leverage to move history.

With insight and ruthless methods far ahead of his time, he reorganized the supply lines and shocked the Union camps with an unbelievable rescue under fire!

When Washington politicians framed him, he calmly struck at the root of the problem, turning crisis into a stepping stone. He rose into the heart of power and met Lincoln!

From then on, the legend of a Chinese man began to rise across North America!

He became known in the Union army as the “Eastern God of War.” He established a merchants’ association and protected his countrymen, making those who discriminated against them pay in blood!

Everyone thought he was making a legend for America, never knowing that the true blueprint in his heart stretched across the Pacific:

Train skilled Chinese laborers, build the super battleship Dragon Fang, and load it with technology and wealth to return to his homeland and nourish that distant, suffering land in the East!
