Shen Che also held her body and burned himself in the sea of fire. The two lotus seeds were entangled in the flames and turned into ashes.
In the second life, when the Republic of China was raging with war, Shen Yanzhi transformed into a notorious "traitor" and lurked, but he personally sent the father of his lover Su Wanqing to the guillotine. The two broke up due to misunderstanding and hatred.
